ORLANDO, Fla. — Orlando International Airport (MCO) will welcome new service from Allegiant Air beginning this month, fostering more connectivity with nonstop routes at one of Florida’s premier gateways.

The new routes are Asheville, NC, launching May 3; Allentown, PA, on May 16; and Knoxville, TN, on May 17.

“We are delighted to partner with Allegiant on its new routes to Asheville, Allentown and Knoxville,” said Chief Executive Officer of the Greater Orlando Aviation Authority (GOAA), Kevin J. Thibault. “Those visiting us, and our local residents, will benefit greatly as we continue to fulfill our goal of providing boundless connectivity.”

With Allegiant Air operating at two airports in the Central Florida region, MCO is encouraging passengers to double check their flight departures and arrivals. All tickets and confirmation emails will say “Orlando International Airport” or “MCO” for flights at Orlando International.
