Developing Business Program:
From time to time solicitations are set-aside for award to "Local
Developing Businesses". The following information should help you
determine if your firm may qualify under this program:
Local Development Business (LDB) Program (for
Non-Federal Projects)
Race/Gender Neutral Participation
Business domiciled in the Orlando Standard Metropolitan
Area (Orange-Seminole, Osceola and Lake County)
Individuals who own at least 51% of the business, and
control/manage the operation on a daily basis
Personal Net Worth limitation is $500,000 Excluding
the equity in the individual’s primary residence up to %500,000
and any businesses in which the individual is actively involved in the
management and day to day operation
Revenue Limitation:
Construction - $2,500,000 in annual gross revenues averaged over the
last 3 years.
Professional Services - $1,000,000 annual gross revenues averaged over
the last 3 years Procurement of goods and services (not including professional
services in 1 and 2 above) $1,000,000 annual gross profit averaged over
the last 3 years
Must be certified by GOAA
To further promote the development of LDBs, the Authority
makes available designated mobilization payments to LDB professional
services, construction and procurement firms up to 10% of the contract
value
